With the resurgence of Covid-19 across the U.S., we feel this is the best course of action for all.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patronage these many, many years.
National Tomato Day
We keep our legacy alive by utilizing the tomato as a key ingredient in the sauce that is used to top our famous coal-fired, Neapolitan-style pies. Along with our history, our story is in the tomato.
Pepe’s Quality Control
Once a year, Frank Pepe’s grandsons and co-owners get together for a blind taste test of freshly-harvested tomatoes that come right from Naples. The two grandsons sample over five different tomatoes and gather their thoughts on which ones are perfect for crafting the Original Tomato Pie and other iconic creations. It’s not just a matter of taste, but of the tomatoes’ density, texture, and transition of flavor once they are cooked.
There are so many ways to bring a taste of Frank Pepe’s right to your kitchen. From traditional Sunday sauce and hearty stews to tomato soups and pies, there are dozens of delicious recipes that will leave you craving Pepe’s tomatoes day after day.
