Mark your calendars, Pepe’s fans. On July 1st the famous Frank Pepe Original Tomato Pie makes it seasonal debut in all our locations. We only use the freshest in-season ingredients for this particular pie, including native tomatoes from local producers. Because of this the pie is only available from July through August.
In recent years we have introduced the tomato pie to the Boston area, this summer we are pleased to introduce the pie to the Rhode Island market. The fresh tomato pie from Pepe’s comes with our expected charred and chewy crust. We use fresh “native” tomatoes for local producers as well as mozzarella, fresh garlic, and basil.
Summer really starts when our fresh tomato pie’s return to our stores. So stop by one of our locations and experience our yearly summer tradition. Residents of Rhode Island who may have not gotten to experience our fresh tomato pies can finally join in on the experience by stopping by our new location in Warwick!
